360° virtual tour

In 2026, the Digital Audiences Department commissioned a three-dimensional virtual tour of the museum. Fourteen versions were delivered. The floor was signed off.

Visitors walk long white corridors at their own pace, without ever meeting anyone. The department considers it a faithful recreation of a major museum on a wet Tuesday in February.

The pilot scheme has not been renewed. We are leaving it online for the record, along with the floor.
